Hi All,

Just had to pass this web site on which my friend has just passed on to me historyofoldbury.co.uk (no www) There are 3 videos taken in the 1940s and they are absolutely beautiful. Enjoy

This is great!! :lol:
I was there that day the Queen came to Oldbury!! In fact i was standing opposite "The Blue Billy "seen at the end of the film.If you look closely i think i saw myself showing the flag!!
I lived in Eel Street and went to Good Shepherd school Churchbridge both shown.My Great Uncle Joseph Woodward worked at Light Metal Forgings also featured in the film
Great stuff BC!!
