can't read who from

"Tuesday Evening Stafford Station
Came here by 6.13 train and
have been to a local meeting
in Laytons Church. Some
Good speakers from London
Am now in train waiting
to be taken back to W-ton
9.55pm. Had good day
Many friends abt today
fine address by Jowitt
was with Matson? all the
morning.Layton has
accepted a call to Lytham
going at short notice. John? xx

if anyone can fill in the words I can't read that would be good
