It was really strange to find my London Husband connected to his family. Wish I'd found this out sooner.

I forget the exact link now but Lawrence Weston, who was definitely a relative of Sparkstopper, married Kate Denham, who was my Mike's grandfather's, older sister. The family name was actually Turney but Kate turned up before her parents married, hence the different surname. Kate and Lawrence had a daughter name Val and I did get to speak to her, once, she lived in Quinton but then, sadly no response from her phone, when I tried to get in touch again.
Mike's Mum used to go and visit Kate and Lawrence in their home somewhere in Birmingham and Mike's sister went to stay there, she was also named Val. Really wish we'd got all this sorted before age started taking people from us.
