Hello
Can anyone help, I am new to this and have spent quite a while finding out not very much and generally going around in a giant circle!
I am trying to research my mothers past, she was adopted in January 1943 aged 1 month 3 weeks and 4 days old. She was born in Great Witchingham, Norfolk. Her biological mothers name was Joyce Mary Appleton and her biological fathers name was Joseph Fleming. Joseph was in one of two RAF squadrons and was killed in action but I don't know how to distinguish which man he was and I cannot find any information on Joyce at all and as for making the connection between the two people, that is another mystery!
Could anyone give me any advice on what to do.
Many Thanks
Helen.

Hi Melon
This section is to show you how to find the info yourself.
The General Discussion is where we post answers for you.
Do you have the marriage info for your mothers parents?
Do you have a birth certif?
Which line do you then want to go back on?

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.
