Surname Interests - please read

Do you have a particular Surname you are researching?

Then please enter it into the A- Z Surname Interests section that we have created,
to see who else is researching the name and possible connections.

Some helpful suggestions:-

*Post surnames in CAPITALs, to avoid confusion between first and surnames,
particularly as mother's maiden names were often used as children's first or middle names.

*When posting a place name, include the county.
As the same place name may be in a totally different County.

*Posting a year is also of fairly major importance, especially with more common surnames.
The vast majority of research tends to be 1837-present, however, a lot of people can trace their origins much further back.

Please Post a "New Topic" in the relevant Surname section.
We will then add the name you are researching to the main Surname Index table,
and any relevant information will be moved to the Archived section, for future reference by fellow researchers.
Members names are in red and you can send them a pm should you wish to correspond.
Should your post be more of a query, we suggest you post in the relevant section on the forum and maybe add a note of your
surnames here for general inclusion.
