Hi all
Haven't been here for a while, my husbands maternal family has the surname Law and they came from Sedgley/ Woodcross and they used to keep a fish and chip shop at the Woodcross end of Beacon lane opposite Doyles the chemist. He says they have a scottish origin.
He was hoping to see if anyone on here might be researching this family tree or could help because he has no knowledge of the familys history. His mother, Lillianne, is no longer with us as she would have loved to investigate. Lillianne was born in 1928 and worked at Dudley Hippodrome box office and met all the stars of the day, her brother was Gordon Bernard. Anyway, love to hear from anyone if interested.
