Munitions Worker - West Bromwich

Post by nocky1972 »

Hi all,

My grandfather (Joseph Nock) was a munitions worker in WW2 and worked on Tanks. He was from Summer Street in West Bromwich... Would anyone have any info about munitions factories in that area? I also know he was a fire warden during the war - any links to this would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

Found this:

It's not clear whether this was the site of a factory, or a storage facility.
